September 28th, 2010

Hey all :)

I am just doing a quick post letting you know that I am going to be doing monthly checkins. Starting October 1st, I will be posting my information (weight and measurements) to let everyone know how I am progressing.

Unless I am unable to post the first of the month, I will post either the day before or the day after (if neither is possible, then I will post when I am able to).

Oh and some news, I actually bought my first pair of skinny jeans last week :) I visited Charlotte Russe for the first time and picked up a pair. I actually really like them. I went back to exchange the other pair I bought (flare ones by mistake) and got a second pair (the first ones are gray and the second are a darker denim wash). I really like how my body looks in them (both are a size 14).

For those that view this, I am still keeping up with my weightloss journey.
These are my stats as of today:
  • weight: 169.5 lbs.
  • arms: 13
  • bust: 38 (above chest), 40 (chest), 36 (under chest)
  • waist: 32 (smallest part)
  • hips: 43
  • thighs: 24
Compared to my previous results from 2008:
  • weight: 209 lbs.
  • arms: 14
  • bust: 40
  • waist: 38
  • hips: 49
  • thighs: 29
So, the differences from then to now are:
  • weight: 39.5 lbs. lost (my highest weight was 220 lbs. so I have actually lost 50.5 lbs. total)
  • arms: 1 (not much, but this is the bicep part I was measuring the second time, so my smaller part is actually 12)
  • bust: 2 (I think I measured either above or my actual bust before but when I got tested for bra size recently, I am now a 38 D as opposed to being a 40 C before)
  • waist: 6 (I have lost quite a bit off my waist which I am pretty happy with)
  • hips: 6 (I am still fairly curvy so I still wear a 15/16 in jeans, like I did when I last wrote on here, but could also easily fit into a 13/14 and can wear XL pants from places like Aeropostale).
  • thighs: 5 (lost a bit on here as well)
I am happy with how my body currently is but for my height range, I still need to lose a few pounds. Again, I am happy with being in the 160 lbs. range, but should be around 145 lbs. or so. If I lose anymore weight, I will report back with the new measurements.

As for shirts, etc., I wear either a medium, large, or extra large (depending on the brand and sizing). I wear about a 16 swimsuit (could fit into a 14), 15/16 jeans (slightly big on me), large coat (slightly big on me).
